Age-Related Macular Degeneration is a disease that destroys your central vision causing a blind spot at the center of your eye. This leaves only your peripheral vision making it impossible to discern details and read.

Symptoms of Age-Related Macular Degeneration:

  • Slightly blurred vision
  • Center of vision may become blurred. This region grows larger as the disease progresses
  • Straight lines may appear wavy
  • Center vision loss can occur rapidly
